I build the rigs, drivers and Python tooling that animation runs on, then animate on top of them.

Rigging is the part of animation I want to own. A rig is a tool somebody else has to live inside for months, so most of what makes one good never shows up in a render: where a control sits, and what happens when an animator drags it somewhere it should not go.
I animate with my own rigs, which is the quickest way to find out what I got wrong in them. What I am working toward is being the person a team hands its character pipeline to.
“Games create an impact on people, whether that is stress relief or just being happy after playing with friends. I want to be one of the people providing that experience.”
